Guldkustens HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Guldkustens HK, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Guldkustens HK could be found in Group 4 together with HK Psyk, Sluta Sura Dante, JÖKA, Goa gubbar, Lödde Vikings HK LVHK Svart, Bönderna and Snövel beach academy.

Guldkustens HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Västerås Slitna HF with 4-6. In the Final, Dalby won over Roslagens Jullar and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Guldkustens comes from Höllviken which lies approximately 100 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Höllviken does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: LVHK 03, Mellangården FC, Dalby, H43 Lund HF, KHF, Dalby GIF, Lödde Vikings HK, KFUM Lundagård, Ljunghusens HK and Stavsten HK).
