BK Solstråle was one of 323 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They participated with one team in Herr Motion.
In addition to BK Solstråle, 50 other teams played in Herr Motion. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof BK Solstråle could be found in Group 2 together with 046 Crew , Cura vik 2, OGGE TAR ÖVER! and Bönnerna . BK Solstråle continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Andralaget with 1-4. In the Final, The muppeteers won over Andralaget and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr Motion. Solstråle comes from Lödöse which lies approximately 270 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place.
