Vinnö IF was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 12, Flickor 12 and Flickor 13 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the 1/4 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against FC Hessleholm B by 1-4.
In addition to this, Vinnö IF have participated in Åhus Beach Fotboll before. During Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016, Vinnö had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 9, Pojkar 11, Flickor 11 and Flickor 12 respectively. The team in Flickor 12 made it to the the Final in B-Slutspeland won it over Wä IF by 1-0. Vinnö comes from Färlöv which lies approximately 21 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place.
