They participated with 6 teams in Pojkar 15, Flickor 13 and Mix 8-9 respectively. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the 1/4 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Brommapojkarna DFF by 3-4. In addition to this, Wä IF have participated in Åhus Beach Fotboll before. During Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016, Wä had 8 teams playing in Pojkar 9, Pojkar 14, Pojkar 15, Pojkar 16, Flickor 12 and Flickor 16 respectively. Wä comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 16 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place.
