IF Brommapojkarna was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with two teams in Flickor 11 and Flickor 16 respectively. The team in Flickor 16 made it to the the Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Fjärås A by 3-4.
In addition to this, IF Brommapojkarna have participated in Åhus Beach Fotboll before. During Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016, Brommapojkarna had two teams playing in Pojkar 10 and Flickor 12 respectively. Two teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Pojkar 10 won over FC Bellevue A by 2-0 and Flickor 12 won over FC Hessleholm B by 5-4. Brommapojkarna comes from Bromma which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Bromma does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017 (Among others: Tungelsta IF, Nisses Grabbar, Danderyds SK, Brommapojkarna DFF, Ekerö IK, Örby IS, Fat Hobbits FC, Ängby IF, Hammarby IF FF and Viggbyholms IK FF).
