Medals 2017: (B-Slutspel) 1 Vanneberga IF was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with 7 teams in Pojkar 11, Pojkar 13, Herr Motion, Flickor 14, Flickor 15, Flickor 16 and Dam Aktiv respectively. Two teams played until Semi final in A-Slutspel; Flickor 15 KiVa lost against Borgeby FK by 1-2 and Flickor 16 KiVa lost against Asarums IF FK AIF 01 by 0-1. In addition to this, Vanneberga IF have participated in Åhus Beach Fotboll before. During Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016, Vanneberga had two teams playing in Pojkar 10 and Dam Aktiv respectively. The team in Dam Aktiv made it to the the 1/8 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Löberöds IF by 0-1. Vanneberga comes from Fjälkinge which lies approximately 8 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Fjälkinge does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017 (Among others: Fc Marre, Pappa's flickor, IFK Knislinge, Fjälkinge IF, Loftahammars IF, Åhus Horna BK, Ottos Glass, Hanaskogs IS, Børnes Magasin and Samba med Svennis).
