Sandlopporna was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with one team in Herr 17-19 Öppen.

In addition to Sandlopporna, 39 other teams played in Herr 17-19 Öppen. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Sandlopporna could be found in Group 3 together with Nisses Grabbar , Araslöv soccer , Turisterna , Vadå , Fc Marre , Vatos Locos , Suntrip , Fjärås Beachboys and Fc Kekke .

Sandlopporna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Nosaby Bk with 2-3. In the Final, Stigge won over Pågarna Holm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr 17-19 Öppen.

Sandlopporna also participated in Herr 17-19 Öppen during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in H17-19Ö A-Slutspel, but lost it against NOSABY BK with 1-3.

Sandlopporna comes from Lund which lies approximately 71 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 67 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017 (Among others: Rubens Pågar, Eslövs Betonghåltagning AB, Sjöbo IF, Hökarängen, GIF Nike, Betongkeps & Ågren, Mormors Lejon, Eslövs BK, Helenas änglar and 80 procent fullkorn).
