Blackbirds United was the only club from Finland that had teams playing during Selected TEAM Cup September 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar/Boys 03.
In addition to Blackbirds United, 7 other teams played in Pojkar/Boys 03. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Blackbirds United could be found in Group B together with GS86 AIF, Karlskoga IB and Rotebro IS IBK. Blackbirds United continued to Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Final, but lost it against Floda IBK with 5-4. In the Final, Blackbirds United won over Floda IBK and became the winner of Slutspel in Pojkar/Boys 03.
