In addition to Alvesta IBK, 15 other teams played in Flickor 99/98. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Alvesta IBK could be found in Group B together with Malmö FBC, Fröjereds IF and IBK TYGRIKET 99.

Alvesta IBK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Sjöstads IF with 1-2. In the Final, Lindome IBK won over Sjöstads IF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Flickor 99/98.

Alvesta IBK also participated in Flickor 97/98 during Warbergsspelen 2014. They reached the 1/8 Final in F97/98 Slutspel B, but lost it against IBK Lidköping with 3-4.
