In addition to Malmö FBC, 15 other teams played in Flickor 99/98. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Malmö FBC could be found in Group B together with Fröjereds IF, Alvesta IBK and IBK TYGRIKET 99.

Malmö FBC continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Lindome IBK with 0-3. In the Final, Lindome IBK won over Sjöstads IF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Flickor 99/98.

Malmö FBC comes from Malmö which lies approximately 170 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide six additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2015 (Malmhaug KFUM IBK, SST Net Landskrona IBK, Bjärreds IBK, Skurups IBK, Häljarps SK and Åkarps IBK).
