Vinbergs IBS was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 02 and Pojkar 01 respectively. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Warberg IBF 2 by 2-3.

In addition to this, Vinbergs IBS have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2015, Vinbergs IBS had two teams playing in Pojkar 03 and Pojkar 02 respectively. The team in Pojkar 02 made it to the the 1/8 Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Växjö IBK Vipers 2 by 4-6.

Vinbergs IBS comes from Falkenberg which lies approximately 26 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Falkenberg does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Warberg IBF, Träslövsläge IF, Kustens IF, Tvååker/Träslövsläge, Halmstad IBK, Tofta GIF, Capricorn IC and Tvååkers IBK).
