Kustens IF was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 06, Pojkar 01 and Flickor 06 respectively. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Vinbergs IBS by 2-4.

In addition to this, Kustens IF have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2015, Kustens had three teams playing in Pojkar 01, Pojkar 00 and Flickor 02 respectively. The team in Flickor 02 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel B, but lost it against SST Net Landskrona IBK by 2-3.

Kustens comes from Halland which lies approximately 43 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Halland does also provide five additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Vinbergs IBS, Träslövsläge IF, Tvååker/Träslövsläge, Halmstad IBK and Tvååkers IBK).
