Gransholms IF was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with one team in Flickor 03.

In addition to Gransholms IF, 9 other teams played in Flickor 03. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Gransholms IF could be found in Group A together with Lindås Waves IBK, BK HALNA, Onsala IBK 1 and Warberg IBF 1.

Gransholms IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Onsala IBK 2 with 1-3. In the Final, Onsala IBK 2 won over Warberg IBF 2 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Flickor 03.

Gransholms comes from Gemla which lies approximately 140 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Gemla does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Alvesta IBK, Hovshaga AIF, Braås GoIF, Växjö IBK Vipers, IBK Vöikers, Växjö IBK, Hovmantorp goif, IBK Vöikers P05 and Öjaby Sport).
