Sandö IBK was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 01.

In addition to Sandö IBK, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 01. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Sandö IBK could be found in Group C together with Nybro ibk, Vinbergs IBS, Karlstad IBF 1 and Partille IBS.

Sandö IBK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Herrestads AIF P01 with 7-8. In the Final, Partille IBS won over Herrestads AIF P01 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 01.

Sandö IBK comes from Vallda which lies approximately 43 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Vallda does also provide 40 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Among others: Åsa IF, Onsala IBK, IK Zenith, IBK Göteborg, Varla IBK, Lindome IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, Öckerö IBK, Öckerö Innebandy and Frillesås FF).
