Hovslätts IK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Stenungsunds IBK with 2-4. In the Final, Stenungsunds IBK won over Warberg IBF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 99.

Hovslätts comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 130 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide two additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Fagerhult Habo IBK and Mullsjö AIS Pojkar 03).
