IBF Backadalen was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2017. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 01 and Pojkar 00 respectively. The team in Pojkar 00 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Band won it over Malmhaug KFUM IBK by 5-3.

In addition to this, IBF Backadalen have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2016, IBF Backadalen had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 07, Pojkar 06, Pojkar 05, Pojkar 03 and Flickor 04 respectively. The team in Pojkar 03 made it to the the 1/8 Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Ibk Elfhög by 3-5.

IBF Backadalen comes from Hisings Backa which lies approximately 73 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Hisings Backa does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2017 (Among others: Utbynäs SK, IBK ALINGSÅS, IBF Göteborg, Hisingskärra IBK, Landvetter IBK, Partille IBS (Wizards) F06/F07, Landvetter Wings, Varla IBK, Fjärås, IK Zenith and IBF Älvstranden).
