Vinbergs IBS was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2017. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 02 and Pojkar 01 respectively. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Warberg IBF 1 by 7-0.

In addition to this, Vinbergs IBS have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2016, Vinbergs IBS had two teams playing in Pojkar 02 and Pojkar 01 respectively. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Warberg IBF 2 by 2-3.

Vinbergs IBS comes from Falkenberg which lies approximately 26 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Falkenberg does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2017 (Tvååkers IBK/Läjet, Warberg IBF F09/10, Tofta GIF, Tvååkers IBK, Warberg IBF, Kustens IF, Capricorn IC and Träslövsläge IF).
