Mölndals IBF was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 04.

In addition to Mölndals IBF, 27 other teams played in Pojkar 04. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Mölndals IBF could be found in Group B together with Utbynäs SK, Rydboholms sk and Warberg IBF 2.

Mölndals IBF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Onsala IBK 1 with 1-6. In the Final, Partille IBS 1 won over Surahammars IBF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 04.

Mölndals IBF comes from Mölndal which lies approximately 65 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Mölndal does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2017 (Among others: Utbynäs SK, IBF Backadalen, IBF Göteborg, Hisingskärra IBK, Landvetter IBK, Partille IBS (Wizards) F06/F07, Landvetter Wings, Varla IBK, Fjärås, IK Zenith and IBF Älvstranden).
