Wårgårda IBK was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 04.

In addition to Wårgårda IBK, 31 other teams played in Pojkar 04. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Wårgårda IBK could be found in Group D together with Gårdarike IBK, Onsala IBK Svart and Carlshamns IBK.

Wårgårda IBK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FBC Vinga Mariners with 0-3. In the Final, CL98IC won over FBC Vinga Mariners and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 04.

Wårgårda IBK also participated in Pojkar 04 during Warbergsspelen 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P04 Slutspel A, but lost it against Träslövsläge IF with 2-5.

Wårgårda IBK comes from Vårgårda which lies approximately 110 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Vårgårda does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Fristad Goif, Sandareds IBS, Floda Ibk, Borås IBF, Hestrafors IF, Vara IBK and IBK Alingsås).
