In addition to Vara IBK, 14 other teams played in Pojkar 08 (Född 2008). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Vara IBK could be found in Group B together with Nittedal Wolves, Veddige IBK, Hestra Skid och Sportklubb and Skara Ibk.

Vara IBK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against CL98IC with 0-5. In the Final, Lomma FBC won over CL98IC and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 08 (Född 2008).

Vara IBK also participated in Pojkar 08 (Född 2008) during Warbergsspelen 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in P08 Slutspel A, but lost it against Munka/Ljungby IBK with 4-6.
