In addition to IBK Kungälv, 19 other teams played in Pojkar Röd B (f.2008-2009) 19-21/4. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IBK Kungälv could be found in Group C together with Westerviks innebandyklubb, Skogås Trångsund IBK 08-09 and Valbo Aif.

IBK Kungälv continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Linköping IBK Ungdom U16 with 1-2. In the Final, Skälby/Tillberga Västerås won over ÖSK Ungdom and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar Röd B (f.2008-2009) 19-21/4.
