IBK Genarp was one of 15 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nova Open 2019. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 2009, Pojkar 2007, Pojkar 2006 and Pojkar 2005 respectively. The team in Pojkar 2006 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Malmö fbc Svart by 7-2.
In addition to this, IBK Genarp have participated in Nova Open before. During Nova Open 2018, IBK Genarp had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 2009, Pojkar 2007, Pojkar 2003 and Flickor 2007-2008 respectively. The team in Pojkar 2003 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over IBK Genarp Röd by 3-2. IBK Genarp comes from Genarp which lies approximately 20 km from Lund, where Nova Open takes place.
