Våmbs IF was one of 190 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2016. They participated with 8 teams in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13 9-manna, Pojkar 14, Pojkar 16-17, Flickor 13 and Flickor 14-15 respectively. The team in Pojkar 13 9-manna made it to the the Final in A-slutspeland won it over Skultorps IF 1 by 1-0.
In addition to this, Våmbs IF have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2015, Våmbs had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 12, Pojkar 13 11-manna, Pojkar 14, Pojkar 16, Flickor 13 9-manna and Flickor 14 respectively. The team in Flickor 14 made it to the the Bronze match in A-slutspeland won it over Spånga IS FK by 5-4. Våmbs originates from Skövde, which is the same city as where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2016 (Among others: Skara FC, IFK Skövde FK, Skultorps IF, IFK Mariestad, Skövde AIK, IFK tidaholm, Ulvåkers IF, IFK Falköping FF, Tidaholms GIF and Mariestads BK).
