Mariestad Ungdom was one of 166 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 16-17.

In addition to Mariestad Ungdom, 21 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Mariestad Ungdom could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Värsås, Katrineholms SK and Lidköpings FK.

Mariestad Ungdom continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Tidaholms GIF with 1-4. In the Final, Tidaholms GIF won over Sils IF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.

Mariestad Ungdom comes from Mariestad which lies approximately 31 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Mariestad does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2018 (Among others: Våmbs IF, Ulvåkers IF, IFK Mariestad, Fagersanna IF/Tibro AIK, Tibro AIK FK/Fagersanna IF, IFK Skövde FK, Lerdala/Tymer, Hörnebo SK, Tibro AIK FK and Skövde KIK).
