Silver medal! Reached second place in A-Slutspel

In addition to the three Borlänge teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2003 C2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Täby HBK Sthlm 1, H43 Lund, AIK Handbollsförening 2, IK Lågan Hörby, Eslövs IK 3, Växjö HF 2, LVHK Lödde 3, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 5 and Vinslövs HK 2.

Borlänge HK 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Skuru IK Sthlm with 11-16. Thereby Borlänge HK 1 finished second in F03 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
