In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with LUGI HF 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Skara HF 1, Näsby Handboll 2, H 65 Höör 2, Kristianstad HK 1, Gustavsbergs IF HK 1 and Alingsås HK.

Borlänge HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Växjö HF with 5-7. In the Final, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 won over H 65 Höör 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.
