In addition to the two LUGI teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof LUGI HF 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Borlänge HK 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Skara HF 1, Näsby Handboll 2, H 65 Höör 2, Kristianstad HK 1, Gustavsbergs IF HK 1 and Alingsås HK.

LUGI HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1 with 10-11. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.
