The Tall Woodswomen was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to The Tall Woodswomen, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof The Tall Woodswomen could be found in Group 4 together with Botulfsplatsens BK, no hands, no control, Flensborg, Warriors, Vinslövs HK, Frogs and IK Lågan Hörby. The Tall Woodswomen continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against BK Halvmiss with 7-10. In the Final, Wild Ones won over Stavstens vänner 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. The Tall Woodswomen comes from Linköping which lies approximately 290 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide two additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Finspångs HK and Malmslätts HF Linköping). 9 games playedGoals |
