Flensborg was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Flensborg, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Flensborg could be found in Group 4 together with Botulfsplatsens BK, no hands, no control, Warriors, Vinslövs HK, Frogs, The Tall Woodswomen and IK Lågan Hörby. Flensborg continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Stavstens vänner 1 with 9-10. In the Final, Wild Ones won over Stavstens vänner 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Flensborg comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 290 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide four additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (GF Kroppskultur Uddevalla, Div2podden, La Bamba and Nossebro IF). 8 games playedGoals |
