In addition to the two Ronneby teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Ronneby HK 1 could be found in Group 6 together with Halmstad Handboll 1, H43 Lund 3, LVHK Lödde 1, Åhus Handboll 1, Västerås Irsta HF 1, Täby HBK Sthlm 1, Ystads IF HF 3, IK Sävehof Partille and Kävlinge HK 1.

Ronneby HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eslövs HF 3 with 7-8. In the Final, LVHK Lödde 1 won over IFK Bankeryd 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005 D2.
