In addition to the two Ronneby teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Ronneby HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with LVHK Lödde 2, Tollarps IF 1, Halmstad Handboll 5, HK Ankaret Bjärred 2, IFK Kristianstad 4, Ystads IF HF 2, H43 Lund 2, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 2 and IFK Tumba Sthlm.

Ronneby HK 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Hallby HK with 8-10. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 3 won over IFK Malmö HF and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005 D2.
