In addition to the two Vinslövs teams, 67 other teams played in Flickor 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Vinslövs HK 2 could be found in Group 6 together with Näsby Handboll, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, Åhus Handboll 1, IK Lågan Hörby 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Bankeryd, Kärra HF Göteborg, Eslövs IK 3 and Lugi HF.

Vinslövs HK 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF with 8-11. Thereby Vinslövs HK 2 finished second in F04 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
