Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel

In addition to the four Åhus teams, 65 other teams played in Flickor 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 6 together with Vinslövs HK 2, Näsby Handboll, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, IK Lågan Hörby 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Bankeryd, Kärra HF Göteborg, Eslövs IK 3 and Lugi HF.

Åhus Handboll 1 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Gustavsbergs IF HK with 11-13. Thereby Åhus Handboll 1 finished second in F04 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
