In addition to the two Åhus teams, 58 other teams played in Pojkar 2003 C2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Tollarps IF 1, Ronneby HK 2, Kävlinge HK 2, Näsby Handboll 2, Västerås Irsta HF 1, Bjärnums HK, Sorunda IF Sthlm, LUGI HF 1 and HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 2 with 9-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over IFK Kristianstad 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003 C2.
