In addition to the four IFK Kristianstad teams, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2003 C2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 3 could be found in Group 1 together with Tollarps IF 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1, Växjö HF 2, Karlshamns HF, Uppsala HK 3, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 2, Trelleborg HBK, H43 Lund 1 and Eslövs HF 2.

IFK Kristianstad 3 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 2, which they won with 13-10. Thereby IFK Kristianstad 3 won the entire A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
