In addition to the three IFK Kristianstad teams, 46 other teams played in Pojkar 1999 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Lugi HF 3, Uppsala HK Uppsala Södra HK, Eslövs HF 1, Vadstena HF 1, Borlänge HK 2, Växjö HF 2, Alingsås HK 1, Enköpings HF 2 and IK Lågan Hörby 1.
