In addition to the four IFK Kristianstad teams, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2003 C2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Eksjö BK, Ronneby HK 1, Önnereds HK Gbg, Eslövs HF 4, Åhus Handboll 1, H43 Lund 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 2 and Ystads IF HF 1.

IFK Kristianstad 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 3 with 10-13. Thereby IFK Kristianstad 2 finished second in P03 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
