In addition to the three Ystads teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2003 C2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Eksjö BK, Ronneby HK 1, Önnereds HK Gbg, Eslövs HF 4, Åhus Handboll 1, H43 Lund 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Kristianstad 2 and IFK Tumba Sthlm 2.

Ystads IF HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against LUGI HF 3 with 9-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over IFK Kristianstad 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003 C2.
