In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 40 other teams played in Flickor 1999 A2. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Trelleborg HBK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Gökstens BK Torshälla, Kristianstad HK, H43 Lund 1, LUGI HF 1, H 65 Höör 2, Alingsås HK 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, IFK Tumba Sthlm 2, Borlänge HK and Halmstad Handboll 2.

Trelleborg HBK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 1 with 11-12. In the Final, H43 Lund 2 won over Sorunda IF Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 1999 A2.
