Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel

In addition to the two Ystads teams, 47 other teams played in Pojkar 1999 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 2 could be found in Group 4 together with H43 Lund 3, Lugi HF 4, HK Eskil Eskilstuna, Kävlinge HK, Kärra HF Göteborg, Sorunda IF Sthlm, Halmstad Handboll 1, Karlskrona Handboll 2 and Ljunghusens HK.

Ystads IF HF 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 4 with 7-8. Thereby Ystads IF HF 2 finished second in P99 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
