HK Ankaret H96-98

HK Ankaret was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Herrar Junior 96-98.

In addition to HK Ankaret, 23 other teams played in Herrar Junior 96-98. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof HK Ankaret could be found in Group 1 together with Åhus Handboll 1, Halmstad Handboll, IFK Kristianstad 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm, Kävlinge HK, H 65 Höör 2, Uppsala HK 1, Huddinge HK Sthlm, Ystads IF HF, Karlskrona Handboll and HK Hök Laholm.

HK Ankaret continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK Sthlm with 9-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over Halmstad Handboll and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 96-98.

Ankaret comes from Lund which lies approximately 76 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 85 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Among others: Eslövs HF, H43 Lund, IFK Klagshamn, Eslövs IK, GW Landskrona HK, Veberöds HK, Stolta mammor, Lokomotiv Gunnesbo, Kävlinge HK and LVHK Lödde).
