In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 57 other teams played in Flickor 2005 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Uppsala HK 2, Trelleborg HBK 2, GW Landskrona HK 1, LVHK Lödde 4, H 65 Höör 2, Kristianstad HK 1, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Halmstad Handboll 1 and Huddinge HK Sthlm 4.

IK Lågan Hörby 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Karlskrona Handboll 1 with 5-7. In the Final, Kristianstad HK 3 won over Karlskrona Handboll 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2005 D2.
