Ellisarna med flera was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Ellisarna med flera, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Ellisarna med flera could be found in Group 3 together with Wild Ones, InTeern, "Vi har också mutat domaren", Åhus Handboll, BK Halvmiss, Falköpings AIK HK and Halmstad Handboll. Ellisarna med flera continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK with 9-12. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Ellisarna med flera comes from Kävlinge which lies approximately 77 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
