Vaktmästaren och de andra was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Vaktmästaren och de andra, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Vaktmästaren och de andra could be found in Group 1 together with IFK ICE AGE, HAK, Grönbete and The Gausels. Vaktmästaren och de andra continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Mmm Tacos with 9-15. In the Final, Utvecklingsklassen won over Genföreningen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Vaktmästaren och de andra comes from Ronneby which lies approximately 67 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
