In addition to the two Önnereds Gbg teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Önnereds HK Gbg Svart could be found in Group 6 together with HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, H 78 Sölvesborg 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, LVHK Lödde 1, Alingsås HK 3, H43 Lund 2, H 65 Höör, Ljunghusens HK 2 and IFK Kristianstad 3.

Önnereds HK Gbg Svart continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK with 3-11. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D2.

Önnereds HK Gbg also participated in Pojkar 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK with 3-4.
