In addition to Önnereds HK Gbg, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 2008 E. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Önnereds HK Gbg could be found in Group 2 together with H 78 Sölvesborg, Åhus Handboll 3, Vinslövs HK 1 and Kävlinge HK 1.
Önnereds HK Gbg continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HK Ankaret Bjärred 2 with 14-15.
