In addition to the three Uppsala teams, 44 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Spånga HK Stockholm 2, H43 Lund 2, Enköpings HF, IK Sävehof Partille, Åhus Handboll 2, IK Lågan Hörby, Halmstad Handboll 2, Trelleborg HBK 1 and Tyresö Handboll 2.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 8-9. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK 1 won over Eslövs IK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A2.

Uppsala HK also participated in Flickor 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in F00 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 9-11.
