Svedala HK was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 2002 B2.

In addition to Svedala HK, 77 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Svedala HK could be found in Group 7 together with Vinslövs HK, IFK Kristianstad 3, Tyresö Handboll, Ystads IF HF 1, HK Eklöven, Uppsala HK 1, HK Guldkroken Hjo and Eslövs HF 2.

Svedala HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1 with 8-13. In the Final, Rimbo HK Roslagen won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

Svedala HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in P02 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Raklev G&I, Danmark 2 with 11-14.

Svedala comes from Svedala which lies approximately 86 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
