In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 76 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 7 together with Vinslövs HK, IFK Kristianstad 3, Tyresö Handboll, Svedala HK, Ystads IF HF 1, HK Eklöven, HK Guldkroken Hjo and Eslövs HF 2.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm with 8-15. In the Final, LVHK Lödde 1 won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

Uppsala HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Hammarby IF Sthlm with 11-12.
