In addition to the two Bjärnums teams, 33 other teams played in Flickor 2008 E. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Bjärnums HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Tyresö Handboll, Ystads IF HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby and Ljunghusens HK.

Bjärnums HK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Tollarps IF with 5-6. In the Final, IFK Malmö HF 2 won over Tollarps IF and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2008 E.
